Nobody’s Perfect…

Isn’t that an interesting point of view?

I am.

So are you!

Creation

All of creation is perfection.  All around us.  Everything that lives and breathes and is…it’s all perfect.

We look at the trees and notice how perfect they are.  The animals.  The birds.  Lakes.  Rivers.  Mountains.  Meadows.  Hurricanes.  Tsunamis.

They are all perfect.

Creation exists under our feet, above our heads, next to us…everywhere.  And it’s all perfect.

Nobody’s Perfect

Seriously?  Really?  Come on!

How can we believe that all of creation is perfect and that we are not?  How can we look at the trees and the valleys and a sunrise and believe that all of that perfection does not include us?

We’re cute…not bright.

Perfection does not exclude us!

Choice

Sometimes we choose things that, in hindsight, we would not choose again.  Sometimes we do things we would like to have done differently.

Our choices do not make us imperfect!  They are just choices.  They do not dictate who we are!  It’s just a choice.

My invitation

When you look at yourself, look at the perfection.  Marvel at the wonder of the perfection that is you.  Show gratitude to you and your body for the sheer magnificence they currently are!

What would it take to see you as the perfection you truly are?!

Much Gratitude,
Sarah

More Changes….

Living in 10 second increments is SUPER fun!!!  And for some people it can be highly annoying.  Crossing my fingers that you aren’t one of them….

I am collaborating with my dear friend, Maggie, and we started a blog over here at  Conscious Chicks.  We’ll be posting stuff over there together and working together to increase awareness and expand possibilities!  How cool is that?!

How’d I get to be so lucky to have a great collaborator?!?!

I will cross post things here and there…and at this moment, I’m not sure what it will look like.

Questions?

Ask them!  I’m happy to answer them!  So check back often and swing by Conscious Chicks too & see what’s up over there.

Much Gratitude!
Sarah

Receiving

How have you cut off your money flows by deciding that _____ is how you receive money?

For example….

You may say, “I’m a waiter.  I make money waiting tables.”  Do you allow money to come in any other way?  Or is this the only way you can receive money?

This point of view leaves you blind to anywhere else that money could possibly enter.

How many decisions about who or what you are do you use to cut off receiving money?

Receiving

What is receiving anyway?  It’s not just about money.  It’s kind of about everything.

Really.

Receiving adoration.
Receiving joy.
Receiving gratitude.
Receive YOU.
Receiving judgment.  Yep, that’s right.  Judgment too.

If you’re unwilling to receive everything, good or bad….can you truly receive anything?

Your Desires

We all have them.  Things we would like to show up in our lives.  People we’d enjoy spending time with.  Places we’d love to visit or live.  Money we’d like to see in our bank account.

There are things we desire.  And by “things”…I do not mean things.

I just mean…we have desires.

Can you receive?

Are you willing to have ALL of life come to you with ease, joy and glory?  Are you willing to receive the good, the bad, the ugly, and anything in between?

What if you cannot receive anything you desire unless you are willing to receive everything?

How?

It can be quite simple.

If someone offers to buy your dinner, simply receive it…
If your neighbor shovels your snowy driveway, receive it…
If your friend betrays your trust, receive it…

Receive it all with ease and joy and glory!

I’ve mentioned it before, but it bears repeating:

Ten times in the morning, 10 times at night:
All of Life Comes to Me with Ease, Joy and Glory!

Just try it.  If it doesn’t work, set it on the shelf.  I have no point of view.  What do you have to lose?????

Much Gratitude,
Sarah

All of life comes to me with ease, joy and glory!

A Whole New Level

What if you could BE you on a whole new level??  Would you be willing to be that bold?

Are you willing to step into BEING in a whole new way?

What an adventure!

I am keenly aware that when I truly be me, when I step into all that is, when I show my true self to others, my life expands in a way I don’t know I can put into words.  I’ve experienced it.  And it’s wonderful.

And yet…

There are times when I hide who I really am from others.  And I play small and insignificant.  The other person doesn’t get to experience the totality of me.

It’s a lose, lose event.

Why do we do this?

We are here.  We are wonderful.  We are potent beyond measure.  We have unique talents and gifts that no one…NO ONE…else can bring to the world.  We are truly amazing.

And yet we hide this.  Why?

Fear.  Whatever that fear shows up as in your life.  However it looks.  THAT is what keeps us hiding ourselves.

If they knew the real me, they wouldn’t like me.
They’ll think I’m weird.
No one will ever embrace my uniqueness.
They can’t really “get” me.

Do you hear the lie in all of that?  It’s all a lie!

We buy it hook, line and sinker.

Would you like to know the real lie?

The real lie is that by hiding yourself, people will like you.  That in denying yourself, you are generating a life.

The truth is that when you reveal yourself in all of your weirdness and vulnerability, people will show up in a whole new and different way and embrace you like never before.

They will be grateful to know YOU…whoever YOU happens to be.

The Invitation

Start being you.

What would that look like?  Who would you be?  How might your life show up?

Much Gratitude,
Sarah

Trajectory

In life, we are often faced with choices for which direction to move in life.  Many times, we look at situations as “either ___ or ____” and we miss the other many choices available to us.  In any given situation, we have a multitude of choices before us.

Frustrations

Sometimes we make a choice for change.  We would like something different in our life and so we choose something we’ve not chosen before.  Then we step back and look…and when the results of our choice are not immediately evident, when we cannot see the change we chose, we become frustrated.

We assume that because we cannot see the fruits of our labor right away, it didn’t work.

Or that we picked the wrong thing.

Or there’s something wrong with us.

Frustration sets in pretty quickly, doesn’t it?

Trajectories

A trajectory is the path described by an object moving in air or space under the influence of such forces as thrust, wind resistance, and gravity, esp the curved path of a projectile.

This can apply to our lives as well.  Our lives have trajectory.

And whenever we choose something different from what we’ve chosen before, our lives take on a new trajectory.

Look at this diagram as a life’s trajectory, with someone at the center point and the arrow pointing straight up as their current path.  If in this moment, they make a small change in their life’s choices, the impact in 1 year (first circle) is pretty small.  But if you go out 5 years (second circle), you can see that small change is quite substantial at that point.  Now, imagine that same choice 20 years out.  Or 50 years.  WOW!

Also notice what occurs when at the 1 year point, the individual makes another trajectory changing choice.  Notice the difference in their original trajectory and the result of 2 small changes.

Hope

It is my desire that this gives you some hope.  Hope for the trajectory of your future.

Hope that one small choice, one small change, can alter your life.

Hope that just because the results are not immediately noticeable doesn’t mean that the choice was wrong or that something is wrong with you.

You’ve never made a wrong choice because every choice you’ve made for your entire life brought you to where you are and who you are today.

Be grateful for your journey.

Much Gratitude,
Sarah
